Roseline, Yvonne as a Ghanaian has the right to join any political party, be it NPP, NDC, or CPP. Yvonne as a Ghanaian has the "democratic right" to organise and embark on the "Dumsor" demonstration. However, I feel Yvonne was wrong to take NPP's money, if indeed it is true.
The impresion here is that Yvonne now comes across as championing NPP's political interest. Thus, she wasn't simply speaking out on the effects of "Dumsor" but rather had ulterior political motive. I'm the demonstrators and the celebrity friends who joined her vigil/march are from all parts of the country's political spectrum. Some of the celebrities will feel betrayed/used, and this could poison her relationship with many.
You see, our Ghanaian politics can be very ruthless, and as a celebrity don't get yourself caught in the nation's political crossfire.
