We the recipients will always be grateful. Thank you very much

It's important we make objective comments here. First, it's wrong to even see Lebanese as foreigners simply because of their colour. Per our constitution, any one born in Ghana is a Ghanaian, and some of these Lebanese have been living in Ghana for close to century now, hence they are Ghanaians as any other. Let's not forget even in America people of different races, including Ghanaians call it their home. In this modern times, we can no more dicriminate people based on their colour. Several nations in the West are opening their doors for foreigners who are productive. And if you just take a look at the number of Lebanese companies in Ghana and the number of people employed, we should be grateful for their presence here rather than posting hateful comments about them.

Indeed I have come to accept that our problem as a country is not with leadership but its citizens.
It saddens my heat to read some of the comments posted here. I am an individual who respects others opinion hence will not attack anyone here.
However I know that each and everyone makes a decision or thinks I certain way based on their precepts.
Hence I don’t blame those who are calling the Lebanese names to the extent of mentioning the word “caliphate”. It is really sad that a concern Ghanaian will post this.
First I will like to set a premise. There are over hundreds of companies owned and managed by the Lebanese community in Ghana. These companies employ over thousands of people who will otherwise not have jobs in this country. Answer this question
1. How many jobs has your government created? Each year government creates jobs yet unemployment is on the rise.
Each year 100s of men and women either in the army, police, prisons and immigration die in the cause of their duty. They died to protect me and you from external aggression. They died because some thief’s and robbers who torment this country needed to be stopped. Answer this question
2. What has your government done for the families of these men and women who died to save our country? Who pays the fees of the kids, who provide for the widow of these brave men?
3. What is the condition for those in active service not to talk of those who have died?
And when a noble gesture from the Lebanese community In Ghana to help support such families we type in here words of foul language, words of disregard to ridicule a group of people who have decided to help make the lives of a widow and school going child better.
Just imagine if any member of the Lebanese community happens to read your comments, decide to stop giving those families and children support. What will you have achieved then.
After all it is not by force for them to help anyone; they have no obligation to assist anyone. But for the fact that most of them have been and lived in Ghana they feel the need to support. How many foreign communities in Ghana have invested directly in educations?
Argument
We sit and watch whiles western countries drill our oil, take our Gold, Give us loans with conditions and on top of it lay off workers when they feel like. The real people who exploit and control government of Africa you have not mentioned. But for those who give us work we complain. I wish you travel someday to see how some of our brothers are treated in western countries before you judge the Lebanese.
At least they have their companies here to provide work whiles others take our raw materials, send them to their countries and create jobs for their people.
I wish you check your facts about who the real caliphate is before you blame others. Is a sensitive word “caliphate” for my reputation sake I will explain it further.
For you who suggest they give scholarship to immigration because they want to evade tax and be left alone. I advise a simple Google type “Lebanese community scholarship in Ghana”
This simple type will reveal to you the fact that the community is also supporting and giving scholarships to students in the law School of the University of Ghana, KNUST and the Ghana Institute of Journalism, and the Universities in the three northern regions.
I am only a concern Ghanaian and I feel that sometimes we cause our own downfall.
Let’s not disregard the effort of people who want to willingly help our young and suffering once in society.
I only hope that some of the members in the Lebanese community do not read this comments posted here. They will really be disappointed and might even stop future plans of scholarships.
And who will lose at the end.
Is good..lol
