This is a sad story, very sad one indeed!I was going to do some business at GCB Bank that afternoon, Tuesday 26th May and was exactly at mths scene when it happened!Although I was driving at at other lane towards Legon overhead roundabout, I heard an explosion and saw some flashes from that area when the guy tried to touch the high-tension cable with something like a metal bar while working directly under the cable.He suddenly died while still hanging on the billboard. I wished I could save him but the was very little I could do that telling the security man at the bank to call the fire service or the police!Many questions later came to mind:was out of ignorance or suicide?It was a very scary scenario!Whatever the intention might be,may he rest in perfect peace!
