  The students, who blamed the incident on the decaying condition of the building and staged a protest in demand for its immediate renovation, have been forcibly evacuated from the campus. This is the second time in less than two years that a student has crashed from a height at the school. Early in 2014, a student fell to his death from the same building during a mad dash that followed a midnight scream of fire outbreak. In the latest incident, another fire reportedly erupted at dormitory around midnight on Friday.

  Billy Billy or whatever.. Did u hear d part no renovation for d past 25yrs? What did kufour do abt it. Atleast dis govt built an additional hostel.. Go for check up

  conveniently build a new one in order to get the opportunity to OVERBLOAT THE CONTRACT VALUE WHERE MONIES ARE CHOPPED UNYAFUNYAFU even though weak ones around continue to pose a danger to students' life like these students who fell and dies needlessly but very wickedly of past and present govts....what is the sense in building a new one without repairing the old one as well to protect the lives of the poor....or the poor doest matter like the rich man's kids...? can u find this CHEAP HEARTLESS ACCIDENT IN ACHIMOTA? ,,,,nooooo bcos parents are rich and in positions to check that...but we also in the poor schools look up to govts to perform by ensuring such tragedies dont happen by sanctioning non performing school heads who refuse to perform in the interest to the kids...THE ONUS RESTS ON US TO SERIOUSLY TAKE ON GOVTS WHO FAIL OR REFUSE TO PERFORM REGARDLESS OF TRIBALISM AND PARTY COLORS BCOS ITS GHANA FIRST THAT WILL PUSH THESE GREEDY SELFISH POLITICIANS TO SHARE THE NATIONAL CAKE EQUALLY..

  Kudos to the students,how can the structure be there for 30years without any maintenance. It's high time we take education serious. There are several school facing same problems. Something must be urgently.

  J T, I agree with you. I congratulates the students for staging a peaceful demonstration. They are sending a good message to GES and the government. Most Ghanaians have problem with the culture of maintenance. We wait until people start dying before we act. This is not unique to any particular government. The Bawku Bolgatanga road is in deplorable state for some time now but nothing has been done about it. kofour promised to work on it but failed. Prof. Mills said he will work on it but failed and now John Mahama said he will do it. We are waiting to see.
  The PTA need to wake up and help the students in their struggle for the dormitory to be renovated.

The students re right to demonstrate for their lives. I think something reasonable would have come from the prin. and director to cool tempers down than ordered them to leave. Plead with them and start something. Principal only chop !chop !

  Nnc government have done well because they have built three structures in the school during 20011 to 20012 but when npp came to power the did nothing for the schools are closed

  The principal must fight for the school renovation becos is about twenty two years now and they have not renovate the school. How the boys dom is to be frank is not the best. I appreciate the students of not spoiling anything ...
