The 2014 Dv plate will not cause accidents on our roads.More important issues like drivers driving on the shoulders of the roads are who need to be dealt with seriously by the police.....the police can make a lot of money for the service through motorist lawlessness.Fine them heavy and also adopt community service punishment.

The police is really doing a good job n more grease to their elbows but not withstanding the bad nuts amongst them.An operation was carried out to clamp down dv and dp plate users and I fell a victim to this operation.But my worry was that an AMA guard whom I knew was dressed in a police uniform and was wielding a gun. This is madina police am talking about. And this boy was stopping all dv and dp cars n inspecting licenses.

What is a good job,do you know anywhere that they seize a car just because the plate expired?

Misdirected effort. The MTTD should focus in bringing sanity on to our roads especially checking these motor cyclists who do not seem to be guided by any road regulations. Our major orthopedic centers are cluttered with victims of senseless accidents who occupy limited beds, drain non existent hospital resources and ultimately destroy the ailing economy. The eventual chaos we shall see on roads cannot be imagined if the Police do not act now. Of course we all know that collecting monies from these DV and DP cars is more profitable to the Police but that does not mean they should turn a blind eye to a huge emerging problem.
