Too many unsustainable districts and constituencies have been created by this NDC government for the singular purpose of winning elections.
It is becoming increasingly obvious that all our problems in Ghana at the moment can be traced to acts committed by the NDC government for the sole purpose of entrenching themselves in power.

This is what happens when you put the cart before the horse. When ofosu Ampofo was creating more districts so that Afari Djan will assist the NDC to win more constituencies, he (Ampofo and Debrah who was party chairman in the East) did not consider the solvency of the supposed districts especially the north where civilisation is yet to reach a lot of places. Now the NDC has come full circle. Can we have 'correct people' in the right places to get the nation going? We are definitely getting into an abyss is somebody listening?

I have been consistent with my criticism of the decentralized rural and urban planning and development scheme from day one because the entire package was put forth and implemented by a bunch of classroom educated but ignorant folks of the Ghana kind with backing from foreign institutions who did not do their home work with due diligence.
Ghana is not a nation that will ever succeed with a decentralized development scheme where development projects in communities are funded by local taxation and other revenues. If the national government of Ghana cannot impose and collect taxes effectively, efficiently and without favor why would anyone think it is ever possible for farming and fishing communities in Ghana accomplish that feat?
We sat in Ghana and allowed some of our classroom educated folks in the Diaspora to bring back crap they've learned which has no practical applications in Ghana culturally and in practice to be shoved down our throat. We will continue to spend money to pay all the executive posts created under this lousy decentralized scheme but not enough funding to ensure real development in communities across Ghana. Wake me up when we arrive at a time in Ghana when 80 percent of Ghanaian homes have indoor plumbing and flow of pipe water.
The economy is hitting many families hard and many have run out of ideas.
