The journalist who was assigned to report this piece must be either a novice or less educated in the english language. I wished Ghana had one common language by which we all could express ourselves in. Unfortunately we do not have one. However, we have no excuse when we write poorly other people's language if that is what we are trained in. The Lead Post should have read "Teachers asked to be abreast WITH modern teaching trends." and not ....abreast of...

having PDP each year will spell out the government objectives set for teachers before the teachers will implement those practices as suggested. Has the Minister of Education initiaited this for teachers?
