There is the possibility of the poor kids being suffocated to death by someone somewhere else and their bodies dumped in the freezer by that person. I think police ruled out foul play rather too early.

From heart attack. Was suspicious that my husband cheated on me. One day I came home early. I ran to the bedroom and he was in bed, quietly watching television. Suspicious, ran to the basement to see if there was some hidden woman, but found no one. I ran up to the second floor, but saw no one! I went up to the attic and up the stairs, all busted, had a heart attack and fell dead ...
Gosh, what a shame. ... If you had looked in the fridge, we were both still alive !!!

Those kids are old enough to push open an old abandoned freezer door.
How deep is the freezer that a 12 yr old can be fully buried in it standing?.
We can understand if it is the 2yr old alone that died in it.
IGP please take over this issue. The police at that station must be probed.
You do not arrest on suspicion. There should be facts. On what basis did they arrest the parents.
I have a feeling the kids were killed and dumped there.
If these were police officers would the case have been closed so fast?
Ghana police were able to get killers who even buried their colleague under concrete floor a few years back.
IGP, again please get involved in this case till your outfit gets to the bottom.
Where are our so-called human right gurus. They are not talking because they can not find any political angle to the issue. Those kids have a right to life......

If this deep freezer had something like that fixed to it then of-course the kids could be trapped by self-locking; May be playing their usual "hide and seek" game popularly known as "aaba ee". Why were they at home and not at school in the first place. I can feel some real pain in my intestines as I read the story. May God give the parents courage to live on.

In the developed world, when a fridge or freezer is no longer in use and you decide to dispose of it, you are required to remove the lid or would be fined heavily when it is discovered that you never removed the lid. It is because of children suffocating while playing around the disposed freezers and fridges.
Lets educate the populace and prevent this from happening again.
Please remove the lids or the front covers before throwing them away.
