    Government must pass a law similar to the wearing of seat belts in cars. You pay a fine if you are caught not wearing a life jacket just as is done for not wearing a seat belt.

    There is know life jacket there,or even if there is one they will ask them to pay if you want to wear it,I don't think it for free in Ghana why am I saying this,if there was life jacket at least not all of them will reject it ...

    The say goes:
    Cleanliness is next to Godliness.
    Life jackets are designed for safety of passengers,but they must be in good shape enough and qualified for usage.

    In Ghana you don't stand a chance when your boat capsizes with or without a jacket. I am sure 99.9% of firefighters can't swim. Disgraceful lot.

    For everty trip please demonstrate the wearing of the life jacket as it done on plane. Passengers have a choice.

    Make it mandatory to wear a life jacket before boarding the boat to begin your travel... it's a safety issue for everyone!!!
