There were days we used to manufacture Ghana Sanyo, Akasanoma, Ofori Electronics Amplifiers which commanded respect and were comparable to similar goods from other countries.

Solar power is available all the time and you don't have to dig under the sea for it using VERY EXPENSIVE technology and infrastructure!! If solar power can be used for space exploration it can surely be used for our needs. Q ... read full comment

Perhaps any subsidy should be concentrated on providing training to installers, on delivering power to rural areas without mains power, and on ensuring that there is the maximum possible co-operation between installers, local government, and electricity companies to keep down the cost of administration of any permissions / inspections which might be required whilst ensuring high safety standards.
