Note well: biometric id card issued by Lagos Nigeria should have the holders country,hometown,and other vital information embedded into the card. period

For any Canadian to live in the States more than 3 months, you need to be on VISA, likewise a US Citizen going to live in Canada for more than 3 months. Even a Canadian (black or white) crossing the border to the US for a day or two is not that easy and yet Africans want to open their doors for anyone.

For this reason uncontrolled immigration is a recipe for conflict/disaster as the indigenous population feel overwhelmed by the new arrivals. To this end,the biometric ID cards is good as one of the mitigating factors. It should therefore be implemented before any other thing so that individuals could easily be identified as pertains in advanced countries. This push for integration is also being driven at an unreasonably high speed which with time would erode national ethnic identities. In this regard,citizens' involvement in such landmark policy is so vital so that we don't see the dominant Islamic culture smouldering all the other atomistic sub-regional cultural identities. Because for one to lose his cultural identity is not a joke.

We have infrastructural problems,security and immigration,unemployment,sanitation,economic,health,agricultural,transportation problems,etc.the EU do not have.
We have to consider all of these and find some ways to tackle them little by little,before we think of any total integration.
Over 40 years ago NIGERIA became the target of every hustler in AFRICA.
They saw ARMED ROBBERY,BRIBERY & CORRUPTION,CHEATS,INJUSTICE etc there.
Now the shift is on Ghana,we experience lots things we hitherto did not,like:
ARMED ROBBERY,FILTH,SUICIDE,REAL ESTATE PROBLEMS,INFRASTRUCTURAL PROBLEMS,WATER,POWER,CORRUPTION,MURDER ETC.
Other countries experienced wars,mutiny etc.
There is no peace in the region,therefore,we have to be very careful in every decision we make in WEST AFRICA.
I think,what we have to do is to think about CONTINENTAL RAIL,TRANSPORTATION FACILITIES,A COMMON LANGUAGE,POWER,WATER,HEALTH,AGRICULTURE AND COMMON TRADE BARRIER etc,like we are doing now,before this integration.
Security issues has to be paramount,in talking about integration.
