Yet another exposure of the "government owns it" (aban ni die) attitude of all Ghanaians. It is everywhere, not only in governance!! You see, such national strategic assets should at all costs receive adequate national attention. We have deployed on that facility VRA and all the security agencies (military, police, fire etc) to physically protect the asset against what??? Yet all those paid to protect it sit by, watch and allow vehicular traffic on the bridge of the dam? Apart from the engineering defects, what if a sabotage incident such as a car bomb explodes in the middle of the dam? when these are times we hear of such news as BKH and arms infiltration? GHANAIANS, lets sit-up. We are all paying too much price for Our I DONT CARE IS ATTITUDE !!

Where are the bishops, prophets, imams, moderators, professors, Doctors, social democrats, and whoever calls him/herself spokespersons.
It is sickening that we hinder our own development by keeping the truth and allow the some selfish interest eat our conscience.
I am speaking with a heavy heart that the very people who enter the house of God will go back to their offices and employ treasonable decisions that does goes to undermine governments but to destroy humanity and cause a lot of death in the country.
Where is your conscience Ghanaians, why have you stooped so low and are greatly possessed by evil intends when you can do good. Why do you kill when you can save lives? Whose legacy are you fighting for and what kind of foundation are we building? Posterity will judge all of you whether you use your office wisely or unwisely. Why has the love of money made you so insensitive to human lives?
Why for the hate of one man our development has been sacrificed whilst nationalism is eroding. Why have we not still realised that we are on our own and we need to create and share what we have? Why in the name of Power people wants to destroy their fellow beings to keep their head up.
God of heaven and earth I pray for the nation Ghana and all its leaders, it is only you who gives and takes, you endowed us with what we have and placed us where we are. Father of mankind expose the traitors among us and those who are undermining our unity and development to shame. Those leaders who are hiding under the cloak of Christianity and committing sacrilege by not preaching the truth; Lord remove them.
Father in name of your son Jesus Christ our Lord who has conquered evil once and for all, hear our prayer and vivify us to overcome the evil doers in our mist, make us an outstanding nation to project you above all other things. I make this prayer in the name of your only begotten son our Lord. AMEN

I read though all the comment and found out that people do not read before commenting on the story or the article.First of all the headline phrase is a question and not reality. The headline of the story proves absumption before facts. The body of the story also expose perjudice when informer use the phrase "very credible information reaching" and "may be"indicate a plot of sabotage and propaganda against Kirk Coffie to remove from his post. This development is absolutely disturbing and jaw droping. It is so-sad that the editors can write"i will not be surprise if some people have decided to hide the truth from the president, maybe some people want this government to fail so that their party can come to power"What a sick mind wrote this foolishness.Haven't his government fail already?Workers not paid, parliament not in crisis crying lack of funds to carry they duties,Judiciary not crying funds proclaim collapse of the judicial system.Has Government paid money owe to feul depots the list goes on and on.The author need his head check for writing foolishly.

It is sad for me to see the Chinese ambassador on Metro meeting Volta chiefs. About two years ago, I read in the news paper the fact that Togbe Afede had led some Ewe chiefs to agree with some Chinese to take a vast Volta land including some parts of the Volta lake to rare rabbits, goats and tourism etc. the Chinese were to invest $121m and take over these lands for a minimum of 30 years. When I analyzed, the Chinese were paying about $10per acre per year for the number of hectares of land they were going to control. Ghanaians only care about NPP NDC so some chiefs are taking advantage of the ignorant majority to enslave and profit from their people. Why can't the govt use some oi
Money to develop specific regions such as the Volta? We visited an elephant park in South Africa and it cost us $45 to see the elephants and an additional $50 to sit on a baby elephant. Ghanaians decided to scatter our zoo just to build a presidential palace. When will we wake up from our sleep? When will our leaders show strategic thinking? Nkrumah saw the need to build dams, harbors, airlines, shipping lines, motor way, universities many decades ago. What vision will our leaders think generationally? Do a few chiefs have any right to sign such agreements and give lands out this way? How will profits be shared? What are the guidelines? Who will audit these Chinese people and know what kickbacks are flying? The Chinese took over the only high rated star hotel in Sierra Leon and all they have done is to hang their red balloons there and are just creaming off. They have one Chinese woman at the front desk collecting money and they use a few staff who clean from morning till late evening. They pay these workers about $50 a month. These guys will come in the make of creating jobs but will just milk our land and enslave our youth. They know there is oil in Volta and some of these agreements will only make it easy for them to get a foothold. Who is thinking about Ghana?
