This is a serious situation that needs to be solved amicably. If the community does not want a mosque in their area, the students can appeal to the school authority to use as their place of worship. After all, there are some SHS that worship in classroom. On the other hand, the community can agree that the mosque to be built would be used by students only, and that they will not let other moslems from other communities come to worship there.
As a matter of fact the University cannot give land to the various denominations to build extension of their churches. The University is a place for study. That does not mean people cannot worship. I have Moslem friends who worship in their rooms.

Mr. President, you have to know that learning institutions aren`t meant for practicing a particular religion. There might be some high schools that have churches but those are mission schools and the missions built them.

That authorities at that University must be reprimanded for bringing about a potential explosive situation. This has never happened anywhere in Ghana. Why is it happening now. When I was in secondary school we had to worship in Classrooms on Sundays.
