Why are they forcing themselves to do what they cannot afford. What brains do they have to implement free SHS at this time that workers are not being paid for lack of money? Teacher and nursing trainees are starving to death because " Nkwaseafuo bi" have withdrawn their allowances. Some Togolese chiefs in Trokosiland are crying because projects courteously initiated by the benevolence of Ghana government is staled because of no funds, yet Mahama was recently at Kumasi promising to build ultra modern market for them. Similar promise made to the people of Cape Coast, some two couple of month ago, is yet to see light of day. Why can't NDC, for once, be truthful to Ghanaian. I can't wait to the dust of behind Mahama when Ghanaians will use their thumbs to show him the exit from the corridors of power come 2016.

We don´t want any day high school in Eastern Region. We want only boarding high schools. A few days ago the minister of education said she agreed with me that we are disadvantaged because we dont use our local languages as our official languages or the language of instruction in our schools. That is why we need at least 5 years of boarding high school education and only 2 years of JSS education. A fact which was totally lost on Rawlings and John Atta Mills.
There is growing anger in the at least 12 Akyem districts which make up more than half of the population of the Eastern Region over this and other policies and the executive must be careful.
Nowadays businesses and government organisations have stopped demanding Secondary School Certificate or Basic Education Certificate.
Each of these certificates are important. For example for many tertiary graduates the only certificate that can tell whether one can speak good English or whether one has adequate knowledge of Mathematics is the Secondary School Certificate.
Similarly the only certificate that can tell whether a tertiary graduate has basic knowledge of Ghanaian history, culture, agriculture and the basic geography of West Africa is the Basic Education Certificate.

Can Samuel"isofoton"Okudzeto Ablakwa take Ghanaians around and show us the 50SHS's that his gov't promised Ghanaian parents they would build for the enrollment of their wards and children or there are no 50SHS's anywhere on this part of the planet called earth?
The Mahama led NDC gov't has been a huge and humongous failure which thrives on propaganda and deceit whilst looting the country senseless. Ghana can never progress with a political party whose policy direction in gov't is to create, loot and share. Any country with such a gov't is bound to collapse and Ghana has become a statistic and a clear casualty of such bad governance.
Ghana is still waiting for the report on the location, completion and enrollment figures of students of the 161 six-unit classroom blocks and 55 two-storey dormitory blocks from the loan facility of Ghc85million cedis approved by parliament on March 17, 2011.
