Ghana is for all and the sehwi area is not the only place with minerals, food or whatever. If that is the case then we will have more regions that ever before. Also, why do they always throw their support for the wrong party? Your chiefs and leaders will take home a handful of cedis and tell you to cast your vote to the wrong party knowing too well their devilish intention.

Anyways, There is one thing I know for sure... both Asantes and the other tribes know how powerful the Sefwiman is so anything that is going to strengthen the grips of the Sefwiman makes them all feel threatened and also whimsy of the capabilities of the Sefwi land.I believe that the Sefwiman association is actually making an unprecedented move which we should all support them. Lack of proper structural local governance and politicizing decentralization is one of the major of the hindrances to our local development in Ghana. Ghana does not belongs to only the Asantes and the some other tribes but for all citizens.

The people of SEFWI deserves better even if their request for the creation of a geographical regional capital is a" tall order". The AHWOIS can go to hell with their selfish tendencies and weird behavior towards Sefwi. Do they even trace their ethnic link to Sefwi in the first place? Anybody can go to Sefwi ASAFO to do enquiries about them When one of them wanted to go Parliament, in which electoral area did he contest? (AGONA EAST OR WEST in the Central region). I think Government should negotiate to bring some major developments to the Sefwiman so as to avoid other groups too coming out with such a demand. e.g. a university and move the cocoa board head office from Accra to Sefwi since greater accra can not boast of a single cocoa tree & this will at least help the chocked capital & all the professionals at cocoa board will be building nice houses & develop the area of sefwi. I'm not from Sefwi but have done some missionary works there before & I think they are not treated fairly. They can not even boast of a 1st class high school so don't ask about a single University
