If GHOSPA is to withdraw their services, then they should be prepared to go the full haul, because from the look of things, the Mahama/Amissah Arthur NDC led gov't does not believe in the rule of law. It is such lawlessness that has occasioned the situation where statutory payments underpinned by law, to the GETFUND, DACF, NHIS are all in arrears, and no punitive sanctions are being exacted on the executive for such a sorry state of affairs. The impunity and recklessness and the extreme disregard for the law, should have consequences for the NDC gov't, because democracy - a tool for the promotion of the public good cannot be trampled upon in such a crass manner, akin to a despotic, military, rascally governance of might and force.

NDC is plunging the country into HIPC again by their action towards Ghana's economy. How did you hasten to implement the SSSS policy before you think by first giving the police very huge salaries (from GHS250.00 to GHS1,000.00)? Did you think the police new salaries would be a secret or you don't know that the police depend upon some other institutions to live and work? Now that every body is demanding his fair share you say SSSS is not sustainable. Pay GHOSPA and others else commot from the governance. Tweaaaa! Otwea!! APUUTORH!!!

I think most Pharmacists are lazy. Most of them just buy and sell. They do not produce anything. The risk associated with their work is very very minimal as compare to nurses and the laboratory. If they go on strike they would start diverting drugs to their private pharmacies and sell to the same patients. They still want to take more than other health workers who equally have first degree, MSc/MPhil and PhD.
