It saddened my heart to read this about the only SHS in the newly created district,it looks like opinion leaders within the area to an extent care little about the school, because one wonders why the SHS land can be sold out to private developers by less a person then the chief, when in other areas lands are readily given out for free to make way for expansion.I call on authorities, government and other stake holders to sit up.He who teaches you how to fish is a friend.

I have been doing some computertraining in the northern region og Ghana, most in the Kumbungu area. I was impressed and tuched, meeting teachers and students, who work under totaly unexeptable conditions because they want to teach and want to learn, the only way to improve live. I like to urge the responsible politicians to accept responcibility and invest eficantly in the Senior High School in Kumbungu and the other schools in the region. this is very uninteresting story to hear about a town like KUMBUNGU, very unfortunate indeed, a town that has produced prominent people up to running mate and so forth in this country and yet cant boast over a common senior high school not to talk of tertiary educational issue.yet look at what a person whom might have help to uplift the name of the town is rather crippling the town, i mean the chief, selling land any how without forecasting into the future development of the town. i think it is high time that the chiefs in Ghana precisely northern region to come to their conscience that selling of land is not a priority of being a chief.in fact is very "nambolistic and takahilism" when one hear issues like this caliber in this country especially when it is coming from northern region.why should you sell a school land? have you forgotten that the can be expand at any time, may be during your life time or after. to the so called politicians, come 2016 general election we shall teach you lessons you thought us so far.
