u are right bros.it is not only in fire service,it's in all the services,these so-called senior officers are just stealing our monies by plan.no wonder they go about borrowing money from the junior ones.they are under curse.

And they have been given statement of accounts of the welfare. its so sad that they remember that the welfare is good when they are enjoying. Most of them are not qualified for the loans they ask for. Its a pity

There should Rules and Regulations governing the Welfare Fund. One of the requirements should be that a Committee representing the staff, both junior and senior be constituted and report the state of the Fund to the members regularly, if one is already is not in place. The Fund's financial statements must be published and distributed go the staff on quarterly basis, in order to make activities of the Fund more transparent. This will go a long way to avoid any misgivings.
