I hope our politicians and decision-makers will sit down and cogitate over `what professor Asenso has said.There is no denying that science and technology are the engines for development for all nations.America leads the world because of science and technology,Japan without any resources of its own has got a strong economy because of science and technology and the same applies to South Korea.Any nation which ignores the development and use of science and technology in its development process stifles its economic development and prosperity for its citizens. Yes, the nation needs to lay emphasis on the development and use of science and technology if it is to get up there with the developed world and ensure good life for its citizens.That is why Osagyefo Dr Kwame Nkrumah made the development of science and technology the foundation for the development of the nation.Unfortunately Afrifa/Kotoka CIA backed coup brought such a plan to a premature end to the detriment of the nation's progress.
