Government must mount cameras on policemen giving tickets. An independent company should monitor these cameras 24/7 to catch policemen taking bribes. Hope I make sense. i know our corrupt politicians wont do this by the way.

The intention of the programme is good but it is superficial approach to the road transport and accident problem in Ghana.
What need to be done is to:
1. Name all our streets and road neet works including pathways wher possible.
2. Have a centralised databse for on vehicles on the road (this could easily be done out completly outsourced to a competent private sector firm)
3. Creat a dedicated office responsible for raod offences supervised by the MTTU.
4. Ensure taht all road signs are fuctioning properly
5. Citizens and local community are empowered by way of dedicated telephone lines linked to thse offices to report road traffic offenders so that people can call and complan and it WILL BE FOLLOWED UP OR DEALT with.
6. The GPRTU are given the opportunity to implement controls to regualte its members. Any GPRTU member caught violating traffic rules will result in a fine imposed on the GPRTU.
7. The implemented above systems must be monitored and reviewed continuously to saddress and strenthen any weaknesses.
