Just read a totally empty and crazy piece put out here under the name GHANABA1. Where in this world have jobs been created for everybody? Does the country have the capacity to do that? What we should be aiming at is to try to reduce unemployment in the country but even that would not guarantee a crime-free society. There would be some lazy and poorly-bred youngsters who would take to crime especially robbery in all its forms as their means of livelihood. Mind you, we have some people who have some genuine jobs yet in the night they take up arms to engage in armed robbery. What has Akonfem got to do with the discourse here? What level of stupidity is this? Are you condemning just because of your poor, myopic political leanings? This country would still be there long after the stupid politics we play in Ghana is over. Why must we read politics into everything in this country?

Another exercise in futility. Even if the people form the neighbourhood watch committees, they still would not give out names of their relations who are the criminals in the community. If the neighbourhood watch committees decide to do the right thing by calling the police to come to their aid during a robbery, you can bet that the reaction of the police would be extremely slow or they would not react all. They would only go there after the robbery incident and start running around all over the place that they are conducting investigation. That's the problem with Ghana. We the citizens are just very lawless and the police too for some strange reasons are not eager to play their statutory roles. We are all SICK!!!
