If it is so difficult to live without this No.1 Commodity, then we must also consider citizens in the rural areas who face this water problem all their life -
"we have to walk to fetch water”.
"the situation is affecting the daily life of residents especially workers and school children who have to carry buckets and bowls in search of water before going to school."
"the situation is having an adverse effect on business activities in the area."
This is the ordeal the rural folk face permanently. Let's expand potable water to every home to improve life of every Ghanaian whether urban or rural.
A resident on the Asafoaste Kojo Street, near the big Mosque, told the GNA that the situation is terrible especially when you have a wife as a nursing mother with other kids too growing up, as water is an essential commodity in our everyday activities.
Mr Ben Boateng, another resident, said: “I have to carry yellow jerry cans in my car boot to Accra where I work before my family can have a good life as other people are having”.

Ghana cannot supply the VERY basic necessities of life to her citizens and you call this a beacon of hope for Africa?.......TWEAAAAAAAAAAAAH! Today, no water, tomorrow DUMSO DUMSO, and not to mention the stinky filth in the opened gutters, super dusty environment, uncontrolled killer emissions from vehicular traffic, indiscrimate burning of refuse in neighborhoods, mosquitoes everwhere, diseases galore.... I WILL KEEP ENJOYING THE GOOD OLD U.S. OF A. even if I drive a taxi or wash dishes in a hotel for a living. AMERICA IS WISE!
