Hopefully, the Minister of Lands has the PEMIT from the ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION AGENCY ( EPA).
(While doing land reclamation, Wontumi was imprisoned for not obtaining THE PERMIT before giving ACCESS into his mining concession)

We cannot reclaim land in one community while allowing galamsey to devastate the next. The authority and commitment behind this restoration initiative must also be brought to bear on stopping galamsey and preventing its return.
Stop the destruction. Prevent its recurrence. Restore what has been damaged. That is the order that gives restoration a lasting purpose.
