I know you guys are angry and emotional and that’s quiet undertandable but please note that not everyone running away from an accident scene is doing that to escape responsibility, some are doing that because they are afraid of mob justice and some drivers undergo disturbing emotional stress as well. When the police is on the scene and have apprehended the driver, there’s no need to physically assault him. Police need to understand that once they have someone in custody, their safety and security is their responsibility. So I also wonder, don’t they have a radio to call in patrol teams to the location to take the driver away. Where does all the donated and purchased cars go? Picking madam to the market?

The driver is at fault, but he should not be slapped. The police should arrest the man who slapped him. No one is above the law
