Former Ashanti Regional Youth Organiser and organiser aspirant of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) in the just-ended NPP regional executive elections, Sarfo Raphael Patrick, popularly known as “Raph”, has broken his silence following his defeat in the regional executive elections, declaring that the outcome will not mark the end of his political journey.

In an official statement issued on Sunday, August 16, 2026, Sarfo accepted the verdict of the delegates with humility and respect, reaffirming his unwavering commitment to the NPP despite the setback.

“This defeat is not the end of my political journey. I remain committed to the New Patriotic Party and to contributing my quota towards the growth, unity, strength, and success of our great party,” he said.

Expressing profound gratitude to those who supported his campaign, the former aspirant acknowledged the immense sacrifices made by his sponsors, financiers, delegates, and campaign team throughout the electoral process.

“Your generous contributions, sacrifices, encouragement, and belief in my vision made this journey possible. I will never take your support for granted,” he stated, praying for God to replenish and reward them abundantly.

He also commended the delegates who voted for him, prayed for him, or offered words of encouragement, noting that their trust in his leadership remained deeply appreciated.

Extending warm congratulations to the newly elected Ashanti Regional Organiser and all other successful candidates, Sarfo wished them wisdom, strength, and divine guidance as they assumed their respective leadership roles.

He concluded with a passionate call for unity across the party’s constituency and regional structures, urging all party members and aggrieved factions to put the internal contest behind them for the greater good of the party.

“Our party is bigger than any individual ambition. Let us therefore put the election behind us, unite, and work together for a stronger NPP and a successful future,” Sarfo emphasised.
