This has been a very great school, indeed a model of excellence, and I hope it remains so for the foreseeable future. It was characterised by very rigorous academics, passionate teachers, holistic development, serene and safe environment, parental involvement, and visionary leadership. It laid a very good foundation for the production of professionals for all walks of life globally. Politicians (MPs, Ministers, etc), Public/Civil Servants, CEOs, Director-Generals, Deputy Central Bank Governors, Lawyers, Judges, Doctors and Allied Health Professionals, Engineers, Architects, Economists, Accountants, Bankers, Scientists, Technicians, Businessmen/women , etc., serving globally.
Transitioned from St Nicholas to St Paul’s, to Nsawam Experimental Primary to Nana Osae Djan Experimental, to Nana Osae Djan Basic/Cluster or whatever it is called now. That’s from private ownership to public ownership in the early 1960s.
Nana Osae Djan Experimental (Model) School deserves better infrastructure/facilities as a proven Global Centre of Basic School Excellence, so it can do more. All hands on deck, therefore, Chiefs, community/opinion leaders, alumni, parents, government, beneficiary institutions, etc, towards this goal.
