The Chief Executive Officer of the Ghana National Gas Company Limited, Judith Adjobah Blay, has led a delegation of Management to pay a courtesy call on His Royal Majesty King Tackie Teiko Tsuru II, the Ga Mantse, at his Palace in Accra.

The visit, held on Wednesday, was aimed at strengthening the longstanding relationship between Ghana Gas and the Ga State, and to explore new avenues of collaboration in community development.

Addressing the Ga Mantse and his elders, Judith Blay outlined the mandate of Ghana Gas and its critical role in powering Ghana’s energy sector.

She noted that beyond its core operations, the company remains committed to supporting host communities and traditional institutions.

“Ghana Gas recognizes the importance of the Ga State in the nation’s development,” she said. “We are committed to continuing our support for initiatives that promote the well-being of the people and the progress of the Ga Kingdom.”

As a gesture of goodwill, the Ghana Gas delegation presented assorted souvenirs and a cash donation to the Ga Mantse Foundation to support its community development initiatives.

King Tackie Teiko Tsuru II received the delegation warmly and commended Ghana Gas for its contribution to the country’s energy security. He urged the company to sustain its community-focused projects to improve livelihoods within the Ga State.

“I appreciate this visit and the support shown to the Ga State,” the Ga Mantse said. “We encourage corporate institutions to continue partnering with us to bring development to our people.”

Members of the Ghana Gas Management present included Deputy Chief Executives Rene Nelson and Dr Ing Robert Kofi Lartey, General Managers Sylvia Archer, Yvonne Wiredu-Akpabli, Charlotte Lily Baidoo, General Manager - Administration Services , and Issaka Abdul-Jamil, General Manager - Procurement, as well as Ernest Kirk-Mensah, Head of Corporate Affairs, and Alfred Ogbamey, Head of Community Relations & CSR.

The engagement ended with prayers and a call for continued partnership between Ghana Gas and the Ga Traditional Council.
