  ghana fire service, immigration and prisons service have not been paid their rent allowance since last year. the current government doesn't want to pay the rent allowance due officers. here is the breakdown of arrears government is owing the various security services. fire service= 11 months , immigration=10 months and prisons service 10 months rent allowance arrears. meanwhile per the agreement signed they are supposed to be paid quarterly

The government spends tax payers' money to restore a small portion of the degraded land and water bodies and start making noise about it? It's obvious because someone will make money in awarding the contract for the restoration. Wastage and corruption. That's what it is.

  The land itself has been poisoned with heavy metals and dangerous chemicals. Whatever foodstuffs that are planted there after the reclamation will not be advisable to be eaten by the people or animals.
