  I wish to inform authorities to take decisive action in Talensi for the Talen teng people. The mining companies are cheating the people there with impunity. if care is not taken the worse things will happen there because the youth are pained and will at a point resist the current happenings. The chiefs are not listening to them and it the youth who are the majority and physically strong cause violence to protect their interest. The have started it with peaceful demonstration and who knows next. They cite issues such as the companies are not employing them, poor roads and other amenities in the host communities, Cardinal Nandini's failure to sign corporate social responsibility agreement, luck of compensation for denying them their lands to farm and mine, poor resettlements of the people of Biung and refusal to engage them properly to resolve their issues. The companies maneuver to divide the people by soiling the palms of some chiefs and Tindanam in the area. Authorities should act swiftly to avoid any chaos so that the people can continue to enjoy peace and see development.
