Too fee, you guys were far away in the bushes and mud and Gas were working as the first civil servants, doctors etc to earn monies to build at all those places you consider rich. Before Ghana got independence and all you foreigners could now work in Accra and build, Gas were already working with British as clerks, administrators etc in Colonial time teteete.

Only those who do not learn from history ignorantly rejoice that the NDC won the 2024 election by massively crushing the NPP. The fact is that the NDC increased their 2020 votes by a meagre 120,000 votes. (From 6.21million to 6.33 million).
The simple reason is that the NPP faithful were appalled by the behaviour of their own leaders and they were discerning enough to refuse to go to the polls.
That is a small win for our democracy. What will they do next? Stay at home? Vote for the NPP or the NDC?
This isn’t the first time that the predominantly Akan block have rejected their own. If you’re not old enough, ask your parents what the Ashantis did when Gen. Acheampong tried to turn Ghana into a one party country through the UNIGOV referendum. Kumasi was the headquarters of the “Unigov….NO!” Campaign. The Ashantis didn’t say that they would vote for UNIGOV because Acheampong was their kinsman, which is what some other tribal groups would have done. And that’s how Ghana avoided a one party dictatorship.
So, learn from history. Stop the insults. Insults will only ginger up Akans to go back to the polling station in 2028. And if they go because of your insults, you can be sure that they won’t be there to vote for the NDC.
After the 2016 election, the NPP could not have imagined losing in 2024. So bear in mind that the NDC isn’t as secure as you think and stop pissing off NPP supporters with unnecessary insults.
