The family lost an angel and the world lost an icon. His love for mankind, his country Ghana, health care worldwide especially for Ghana was an inspiration. He and my other uncle the late Prof Achiampong, both held the flag of Ghana higher where ever they walked on this planet. May their souls rest in peace. Ghana owns them a state memorial service for their service not only to ghana but the world.

I remember him in his white VW caravan. A nice car in the early 1970s. This mans death does not invoke any sense of loss to Ghana. It is just the times we leave in. Mediocrity is admired and tolerated.
