Our ministers goimg out to enforce these encroachments and breaches are not efficient in the long term. Please lets use the law and responsible institutions . Lets hold city mayors, the local governments, spatial planning derectorates, MMDCE's etc accountable. They have become toothless in the face of traditional institutions and other powerful people in soceity. How can we destroy our watersheds, basins, river bodies in towns, villages, cities which are all becoming one big slum with no access roads, greens, water reservoirs, watersheds and drainage channels all sold for developments. Our economy, environment and soceity all depends on a healthy watershed.

Can you go to China and do what these guys are doing here with the same impunity? All leaders do here is political propaganda and empty threats; no action. Whoever gave permission if found culpable should be shot to send a clear message. This is the only language the African understands.

Let them remove all what they have put there and since they are willing to buy properties it means they have money to relocate and build with approved plans.
I want to seize this opportunity to say the feed ghana programe launched by president mahama is super excellent though he did not touch on funding aspects.
Every house can even plant along their fence walls even if 1 or 2 feet wide whatever they like to plant .
Also even chicken cages can be mounted on the walls to rear chicken layers and broilers or rabbits or even wall mounted hanging plant pots in that space .
Whenever the will is there there is the way and success.
Municipality officers too must support and guide in order that the cleanliness of the environment is maintained.
Let's all join hands and help ourselves.
I for one I started in my little way already.
My kids believe it or not are on their phones .
I pray they will be doing it too with time hopefully.
