Ghana will not be on a global stage unless the removal of these traditional and paramount chiefs are met. The authority of any nation comes only from the president and the administration, and not from any other entities. These paramount chiefs rely on the government for all kinds of developments like roads, clean water, school buildings, electricities, public toilets, hospitals, clinics, etc. so the question remain what do we need them for? I'm still thinking! I mean why schools have to be shut down because it's maybe Ghana's independent day? And shops being closed when we know the cost of living is very difficult situation. How would the proposed 24 hours economy thrive in the midst of all of this because this could also happen in other regions, the old fashioned ways which our ancestors left us with need some serious improvements.
