  This is complete rubbish! If your evil Akufo Addo/Bawumia government had not ignored the plea of GWCL in the past 8yrs when the 3 water pumps, which were installed since 1993, started breaking down one after the other, this problem wouldn't have arisen. The first one broke down and according to the officials at the Kpeve water works, it was reported to their headquarters in Accra but nothing happened. Then the second one also broke down and a report was made to GWCL head office, yet again nothing happened. All this while The sector minister was busy turning her bedroom into a bank to stash away stolen public funds. Don't forget 43m dollars for dredging the Odor river. Meanwhile, Kpeve had to make do with the only remaining machine to pump water to the entire Ho municipality, South Dayi and Ho west districts. Eventually, this machine too broke down in January 2025, hence the crisis . This could have been prevented if the previous government had not neglected the Volta region. The immediate past regional minister claimed he had on several occasions made pleas to the powers that be to get the pumps replaced, but his pleas were ignored.

  It's a lie. Ho has enough water to supply the whole country - eye zu! Ho has been the heart of the NDC (according to Fiifi Kwartey) since 1992, you mean you don't have water? eye za! Did you have water but Nana Addo destroyed the system? eye zu! No water in the World Bank? - eye za! The NDC knows whatever they do they would get the votes from the Volta region; I don't think the region can show anything for their loyalty to the NDC. The same thing applies to the Ashanti region and the NPP. The last election results showed the region is ok learning some lessons.
  When someone called JJ a murderer you were up in arms. If the people who have been behind him since 1979 are today crying for water (water is life), how would they sincerely describe such a person? eye zu za!
