Isn't it the government's job to provide a military vehicle? The money would be better used by, for example, upgrading the lighting system by placing electric poles at vantage points—a generator for the local hospital. The market needs upgrading. Another community centre will not go amiss, which will generate funds. Why waste money on a military pickup?

Shouldn't he have given it to the police or the nearest hospital? The work of the police and health facilities is of direct benefit to ordinary citizens. The military is well resourced.
