Suspected cholera outbreak at Dodome-Tsikor

Ho, April 21, GNA - There is a suspected cholera outbreak at Dodome-Tsikor in the Ho Municipal area, Mr George Quarshie Hornuvor, Assemblyman for the area, told the Ghana News Agency at Ho on Monday.

He appealed to the Regional Health Directorate of the Ghana Health Service and the Ho Municipal Health Directorate to send help to forestall fatalities.

Quoting Togbe Sakpanyra V, Divisional Chief of Tsikor, Mr Hornuvor said many inhabitants have been running diarrhoea and vomiting and reporting to the Dodome -Teleapenu clinic, which seemed unable to cope with the situation.

He said it was difficult to tell the number of people who have been affected.
