WHY WASTE TIME ON AN INFERIOR SYSTEM
In her statement Prof Naana Opoku Agyeman claimed that the A Level is of high standard. By implication, what she is saying is that the SHS system is of low standard. My question is that how do we continue wasting our energies and time on a system that is of low quality. Imagine two people, A nad B, acquiring phones of China and German made respectively. No matter how many times A will be working on their China phone, nothing will make it superior to B's German phone. Look, we can not be experimenting with the future of our youth. Let it be known to this useless Professor that before scraping the old system, the only excuse they gave us was not on the quality but its inability to equip the youth with employable skills. They brought the new system with workshops and tools hoping that that will industrialize Ghana. Today, the tools and workshops are no where to be found and the technical components have been removed from the syllabus and so we cannot continue with that system since the main ingredients have been lost.
