This man seems to know even before the beginning of the plot that the target includes Muntaka and Haruna Idrisu. Ayariga never mentioned that he received any money from Osei-Wusu or Agyarko. Muntaka says he never gave any money to Ayariga. Ayariga is a lawyer and he said at the committee sitting that he had no concrete evidence but he only relied on hearsay for the basis of his allegation. Being a lawyer, he never thought it wise to preserve the GHS3,000 "bribe" as evidence of his allegation? This plot is just to muddy the waters and force Muntaka to resign to someone else will take up his position. NDC is full of crooks and liars, and that is why you will remain in opposition for a long time indeed.

The NDC Chairman should know that Honourable Muntaka is bound by his position as a member of Parliament to be honest at all times. Secondly, Honourable Muntaka is a practising Moslem and thus enjoined by his faith to speak the truth at all times.

Ofori, then an MP alleged that Kuffuor bribed the majority MPs (NPP) $5000 each to approve the sale of Ghana Telecom. This allegation resulted in the deselection of PC Ofori who failed to return to parliament in 2009. Those of us in the NDC believed Ayariga and the other three as against the lying Muntaka.
