Imagine the millions of dollars that would be saved from the importation of crude oil if this dam is able to generate 250 Megawatts of cheap hydropower? Do you know that if this dam had been constructed people would not have paid higher electric tariffs as they are doiing today. Imagine the quantity of tilapia that would be produced.

We know, and call still remember those innocent ones who die in the hands of this man. As regards corruption that has become his catchphrase against the government, the least said about it, the better. Where are the various Pndc accounts and what happened to those accounts? It is for peace and cohesion that's why many of us don't want to talk about those things.What kind of hatred is this? What does he want from the president? Has he forgotten that he is disgracing this country in the first place? Why now, and not before now? I strongly believe the ghosts of those who die in the hands of this man, are now hunting him. This is not normal, to say the least. Nothing will change the minds of discerning Ghanaians. It's very sad the npp are making fools of them by dinning with these divisive characters. It is most interesting that after imprisoning Tsatsu Tsikata and getting the crude oil resources of Ghana, John Kufuor and his cronies took 3% and gave the rest of Ghana 13%.
In 2011 when KOSMOS was about to depose of 14% of her shares and John Atta Mills applied to buy it on behalf of the people of Ghana NPP led by Nana Akufo-Addo went to Washington to impress upon President Barack Obama to force KOSMOS not to sell the shares to the people of Ghana.
Mr.Martin Amidu was then the Attorney General of Ghana and could not use his brain to get the shares for us. It is likely that he has been promised some shares by Kufuor and his cronies.

When JJ was critisicing Mills I thought he was being genuine until he made a mistake and gave an interview saying he wanted to come back after the one-Mils-term. Question is why is Amidu not joining the NDP or NPP? Because he wants to be the president. Obviously that can not happen in the NPP and Konadu won't give up her position in the NDP so Mahama has to lose to give him a chance. Remember he was the vice-presidential candidate to Mills before Mills changed him for Mahama and they won in 2008? I gues he was hoping Mills would either lose or finished his second term so he Amidu could compete Mahama for the presidential slot after Mills. The problem now is if Mahama wins a second term, the chance for northern president is gone for long long time. He would have missed his chance. It's somewhat similar to the so-called Kufour faction. Amidu is just serving himself.

THE WAY FORWARD AFTER NANA AKUFO ADDO IS SWORN IN AS PRESIDENT OF GHANA.
Part 1 (GAINING GROUNDS IN GOVERNMENT / SUSTAINING OUR CONTROL OF NPP)
It is important to realize that our very political survival depends on how we handle power and ensure that the name Nana Akufo Addo, in Ghana political history and in that of NPP and our tradition, becomes a second pillar to Dankwa, much bigger than Busia, Dombo and Agyekum Kufour. This must be done on two fronts; first, Akufo Addo government must perform very well in all sectors, but must do way more than Mahama in terms of infrastructural development. If we must take a sincere look at building of infrastructure under Mahama we would realize that the President has lifted up the challenge bar extremely high. So infrastructural development is one thing we must influence future Akufo Addo cabinet to be mindful of. The second way to achieve this is the most important of all; enriching our own as both Kufour and Mahama have done in the case of Chief Kufour and Ibrahim Mahama respectively.
At all cost, Ken Ofori Atta, Nana Asante Bediatuo and Gabby Otchere Darko shall build financial empire by giving them absolute control over all significant government contracts. They will again be responsible for investigating and re-awarding of all existing contracts. Nana Addo’s control of NPP has been possible and sustained by the works of the three, especially, Gabby. Nana Addo himself has asked that we include Kennedy Agyapong, but he is an Assin man and he will forever remain Assin , not Akyem. Since we cannot also ignore Nana Addo’s request we must measure and control Ken Agyapong’s financial rise, because we can never tell when he may look the other way and turn against us even though he has been with us for long. It is not enough to enrich our own three and end it there; we must also check and, as far as it cannot be seen as witch haunting, cut down the financial strength of Chief Kufour, Ibrahim Mahama, Kwadwo Mpiani, Richard Anane and Paul Afoko.
It is of extreme importance that we put Papa Kwesi Ndum and Kwabena Duffour in continuous check and control their financial growth. The records and evidence show that Ndum and Duffour would rather side with others and not Nana Akufo Addo, hence, the need to cut their business down to size while we prepare our own to overtake them in financial growth.
As for Alan Kyerematen, his popularity, once more, has surged up both within the party and the country. In all honesty, he has made so much gains for Nana Akufo Addo and our 2016 campaign so we must be careful dealing with him. In spite of the good works by Alan, he remains the number one threat with the potential to stand in the way of Ken Offori Atta becoming President after Nana Addo. Since “one district one factory” is Alan’s own idea and in fact, he is the one going to lead that project, we may cause trouble for Akufo Addo’s government if we discredit Alan in the early days of the administration. We shall therefore not touch Alan in the first 2 years into Nana Addo’s first term, but plans must be made to force corruption allegations on Alan’s neck after the first 2 years and destroy him for good. This can be done neatly without traces, we only must buy agents from NPP to start this and pay our NDC friends to give it life.
Part 2 (CHECKING THE RISE OF ASHANTI)
Our number one pursuit to cut the forever growing wings of the so-called Asantehene, Osei Tutu 11, has been a very long struggle. We cannot be satisfied with the little done against him and we cannot end here, we thus must resource our agents in Kumasi, especially, those at the central market to keep up their work of creating hatred between the people of Ashanti region and their so-called King.
Since we have been able to render Kufour and his Ashanti boys toothless and useless even in NPP, there is no point wasting time on them when we win this election. Instead, we shall focus on the Ashanti Chiefs particularly the Offinso-manhene. This can be achieved by the old same strategy; recruit and pay agents to label Ashanti chiefs as NDC, let the ordinary Ashanti man understand that their chiefs are against their own party NPP and they will hate the chiefs forever.
Again, we must sow seed of disunity among the chiefs of Ashanti. Osei Tutu has been emboldened and made powerful because Ashanti chiefs are united behind him. Most of the chiefs are poor and we can elevate them financially and influence them at all cost. It will be disastrous to touch the individual Ashanti businessmen who stay in the region and conduct their business over there. Rather, we shall prepare a comprehensive programme that will check their spare parts business, those owners of big schools and hotels in the region and make sure we are not so much threatened.
Part 3 (PROJECT / PROTECT OKYEMAN)
The first and most important objective of Akufo Addo government, as agreed upon, is to project and protect Okyeman; make our prestigious and present Okyehene the most powerful and mighty King of the nation Ghana. This is exactly what we were made for as people of the Great Akyem land, to lead as we showed during the birth of our nation Ghana so we cannot and must not trail behind slaves and servants. To achieve this we have to first influence and bring Kotoku and Bosome under the firm control of Abuakwa Kingdom. Plans to enrich Abuakwa Kingdom have been thought out and discussed into details.
For Abuakwa Kingdom to have a place at the seat of government and feel safe, Okyehene must win the hearts and friendship of the Ga Chiefs. Akufo Addo government cannot directly achieve this, so as possible, Okyehene must be well resourced to fill up the stomach of Ga chiefs to bring them under cordial control. Not only that, efforts must be made to incite Ga chiefs and their people against Ashantis and the people of Kwahu who are busily grabbing their lands.
All the powerful Chiefs in the Eastern region of various tribal backgrounds will be presented with extraordinary financial package to come on board. They will have to stand with Abuakwa Kingdom in all national and local matters. If they reject our package of prosperity, we will have to isolate them and cut them down to their size.
We can always have our way in the three northern regions, Brong Ahafo, Western and Central regions. The ones we can hardly trust are the Volta chiefs. Togbe Afede and individuals like the Ahois, the Tsikatas, and the Okudzetos must always be checked. We cannot deal with the Ewe and Anlo people without touching probably the biggest and the most powerful Nyaho Tamakloe family. This must be achieved within our first term as we are not sure of what happens after Nana Akufo Addo’s first term.
If any of us thinks this is difficult and dangerous path, I agree, but we should reflect on our history and know that our fore bearers took much more difficult and dangerous decisions in the Gold Coast struggles before the descendants of Akyem Abuakwa were considered first class citizens of Ghana. Our plan is to take over NPP and remain prominent and makers in Ghanaian politics for the next 30years, failure to accomplish this may render Akyem Abuakwa left-behind or lost-out. Our Ancestors were served as kings and queens, our forefathers were served, we have been served, and so our children and great grandchildren must be served by others through our efforts today.

The Microfinance and Small Loans Centre (MASLOC), under the Office of the President, has been embroiled in a fresh corruption scandal.
MASLOC, which is a microfinance apex body responsible for implementing the government’s pro-poor credit scheme, recently awarded a contract for the supply of 1,000 motor tricycles to the tune of a whopping GH¢10,000,000.00.
It means that the NDC government, led by President John Mahama, who is seeking a re-election on Wednesday, is charging the taxpayer GH¢10,000 per tricycle when on the open market it is sold for GH¢5,000.
The contract was awarded on November 7, 2016 – just one month to the crucial general election – even though the Chief Executive Officer of MASLOC, Sedinam Tamakloe Attionu, had written to the Public Procurement Authority (PPA) as far back as May 4, 2016 for approval.
DAILY GUIDE learnt that three companies were given the contract to supply the tricycles and they were all said to be sole-sourced.
Documents showed that Crisjoe Company Limited, Spell Trust Limited and IEL Logistics Limited were the beneficiaries of MASLOC’s alleged inflated contract.
A letter written by Sedinam to the Chief Executive Officer of the PPA titled, “Request for approval to purchase vehicles using the restricted tendering,” said it formed part of MASLOC’s poverty alleviation agenda.
“The centre is by this application seeking the approval under Section 38 of the Public Procurement Act, 2003 (Act 663) and Amendment Act 914 to apply the restricted tendering method to procure specialized motorized tricycles,” the letter stated.
MASLOC then went ahead to list the three companies and described them as “reputable organizations duly registered in Ghana and have fulfilled their tax obligations.”
The letter indicated, “They are the only companies with these types of motors locally available and designed for passenger services.”
MASLOC also stated that “the urgency of the need for these motor tricycles limits our ability to source for other companies internationally,” adding, “The bucket sizes are bigger and this fulfills the requirements of our clients.
“On the open market, a tricycle is GH¢5,000. MASLOC, just last week presented a sole-sourced contract to the National Procurement Authority to buy 1,000 tricycles for GH¢10,000,000! This means government has doubled the cost of one; when buying a thousand should even attract a bulk purchase discount,” a source said.

Many would ask whether Amidu was waiting to be duly compensated, too, by Mahama and he never got a dime from him, and that is why he is trying so late to torpedo Mahama's chances of retaining Power.
As much as I admire Amidu for his sole vigilantism with the Woyome case, he has left so many questions unanswered that cast his motives and credibility into question.
If Amidu knew about this E. O. Group deal, why didn't he come up big in objection to it before and after he left the Government?
Meanwhile, does Amidu know which individuals were the beneficiaries to that deal? If he does, he should reveal those names, too.
Any honest, discerning Ghanaian that wants to know would find out that all wasn't proper with the E.O. Group Oil Venture. Period! But we also know how the Mills Administration backed down from de-legitimizing the whole E. O. Group-Kosmos Agreement when our Government was hounded in quiet by the USA Power sources.
When Kosmos hired the notorious anti-Pan-African Lobbyist, K. Riva Levinson and her KRL International LLC. to push its case through the Lobbyist used US Congress and even the US Presidency, according to some sources, to bully Ghana into submission to let the corrupt Agreement stand.
What has Amidu done with that up to this point? What bothers me more is the failure of Amidu to expose whatever was involved in the entire E.O. Group-Kosmos case, but chose to dwell on this miniscule part which involves only $13 Million as compared to the $300 Million plus that went to the two person E. O. Group.
Not that I advocate that $13 Million is a small change that is necessarily negligible in our Economy. In our Economy, every Pesewa or Cent makes far-reaching ripples.
But I am concerned about Amidu's avoidance of confrontation with those taking $300 Million in objectionable circumstances and rather coming down heavily on others who only took $13 Million on the same deal. He seems to have chosen those who took only 4.33% of what E. O. Group took to beat upon. So, what would he do the E. O. Group?
I hope Amidu does not come back on this comment to declare the E. O. Group did everything perfect to the 'T'. Or, that only the E. O. Group members were the ultimate beneficiaries of that deal.
Ei, Ghana Sweet-oooooh! All you need to do is associate with the 'RIGHT' political players in the countries and you and your family would never know poverty, even as the millions others have their assets scooped into few private pockets of whom you could be one.
