In Ghana, there is no real big gulfs between the Parties. Party As Manifestos are the Manifestos for Party B. Years ago, The CPP had clear and distinct Policy from that of the UP. Now a days, everything is really in the Pot.
If, therefore, the NPP had in its Manifesto something that will be good for Ghanaians - and it is common knowledge that even where 10 individuals are asked to put together their likes and dislikes, there will be overlaps.
If NPP believes that items on their Manifestos are actionable, then a ruling Party in Government will not simply neglect it because NPP have said so in their Manifestos.
If the Government has built Project A and NPP said this and CPP said that and APC said that. Should the Government in power neglect all that the Parties in Opposition has suggested even though they exists capacity? Policy statements are works of specialist economists, political scientists, administrators and Government will never neglect a Manifesto item dating back to 2008 of NPP or APC simply because it was not their ORIGINAL BABY.
We are talking about Parties in Ghana where the former Center Right (UP) party has now moved to the Left providing Free SHS policies. These could never have been dreamt of by the founding fathers of NPP.
For this reason The Osagyefo advocated One Party State as we all could think alike for the sake of Ghana. The Late Gen Kutu Acheampong advocated Union Government. That which we call democracy inherited from the West does not allow for this, but equally must not be allowed for neglects because Party B said so first until they come to power. What if they never come to power soon?
The NPP, CPP, PPP should be pleased that in defeat, their policies have seen daylight because they were adopted by the ruling Party. Please, we must also not be hoodwinked. Even if 20 policies of NPP were adopted by the NDC, it will still be a very small fraction of the overall policies which have been executed. There is no point arguing who came with it first. What is in the interest of GHANA?
This is electioneering year and all Parties will tout their wares and the electorates are watching the doers and the talkers.

If they were to admit to Ghanaians and the NPP, they were irredeemably incompetent, lacked any vision, the poverty of thought was horrendously stifling and so Ghanaians and especially the NPP should help them, perhaps, Mahama turning his head left and right, like a deer caught in the headlights, desperately stealing ideas from the NPP. It must be noted, stealing, be it ideas or the national purse of resources is in the DNA of Mahama and the NDC.
However, there is a huge difference between stealing ideas and implementing those ideas to change the fortunes of the teeming mass of impoverished Ghanaians and the words of Prophet Kobi to the effect that, Mahama does not have the blueprint to turn the fortunes of Ghanaians around is not lost on the voting public.
The cry of the immediate past Moderator of the Presby Church asking, nyansafoooooo aaa mo wo h333" is not lost on Ghanaians.
These are the very issues agitating the minds of the electorate and on every conceivable issue, Mahama and his NDC gov't of unrepentant stealers have demonstrated over the course of almost a decade ie 10 years, they lack the competence, the intelligence, the vision, the aptitude, the skills set, the leadership to implement the stolen ideas they appropriate in this crassly shameless manner.
Indeed, the state of the Ghanaian economy whether it be of straw or concrete which was proven by the articulate and thorough analysis of the facts and the figures by the incoming Vice President of Ghana, Dr. Bawumia shows clearly, stealing ideas or natural resources and the funds of the state has never transformed the lives of Ghanaian citizens under the Mahama NDC gov't, and it is not going to change in 2016 and beyond under the Mahama NDC gov't.
Rather untold hardships, a collapsed economy, a collapsed and failed state is what has become of the legacy of Mahama and his highly incompetent, corrupt and vision-less party of shameless stealers.
Ghanaians have seen the light and in this election, at this moment, in this time, Ghanaians with one loud resounding voice proclaim and put it to the Mahama and his NDC gov't, your time is up, it is over, you are leaving and will leave office on December 7th, 2016 and your handing over notes must be bound and ready to be handed over to the NPP gov't to be led by Akufo Addo and M. Bawumia. Ghanaians expect Mahama to have completed this all important exercise because it is over. We repeat, it is OVER!!!.
