I don't know why Mahama and the NDC want to paint themselves in a certain light, when the very act of corruption has been taken to it's most irresponsible level in the NDC party and gov't by Mahama, and has actually earned him the title as the 2nd most corrupt gov't in the whole of Africa and also, facing possible impeachment from his corrupt acts at the Presidency.
It is therefore not strange at all when Prof. Martey spills the dastard beans about Mahama and bribery and the attempt to silence him in this country. This is not new.
Dr. Amoako Baah has also spoken about attempts to bribe him before and i will quote this story of November 2nd 2015, thereabouts, where Dr. Amoako Baah spoke about attempts to rope him in and silence him.
Former Head of the Political Science Department at the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) Dr. Richard Amoako Baah, has declined to serve as board Chairman for the Kumasi Polytechnic.
Dr. Baah was appointed by the Government through the Education Ministry to serve as Board chairman of the Kumasi Polytechnic early this year but declined the offer because he saw the move as a political strategy to corrupt him with fat money.
In an exclusive interview with Ultimate FM’s Isaac Justice Bediako, the outspoken lecturer said he rejected the offer mainly because the deputy Minister in charge of tertiary education, Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa did not follow the right procedure.
“They called in the middle of the night and asked me to come to Accra the next day, and I asked for what and they said to be sworn in as the chairman of the board of Kumasi Poly.
“But I said no, that is not how it is done…if you want me to do it, write a letter to me officially, I receive the letter, I read it, I assess myself is this what I want to do, can I do a good job, then I respond to it in the affirmative then I come but don’t just call me in the middle of the night and ask me that I should proceed to Accra the next day I won’t do it,” Amoako Baah said.

So the persistent attempts to bribe critics of Mahama and his administration is never new so Koku, Kofi Adams and all those guys trying to deflect the damaging revelations by Prof. Martey makes them look very ridiculous and very silly because when you have been exposed like that, you start begging for forgiveness instead of what Mahama and his minnows are doing.
