The "Tea Party" is to the US GOP as the "Koko Party" is to Ghana's NPP. They both have the elephant as their symbol and they both will lose their bids.

The name baked into a brand must not be trivial and casual. Rather it must capture the imagination of its patrons. The NPP needs a Strategist to be directing these "mumuna" idiots who think they know but in reality they know not.
NPP, if you are listening, change the name of the group, not necessarily what the group is doing, an outreach programme.

The funny aspect of this whole thing is that Moslems have just completed a month-long fasting but it did not occur to the NPP to provide the koko to those who might be unable to break their fast properly but horded the koko to be used to buy votes, because that is what it was.
