During the era of President Koffuor, it was not often heard or seen that most major parts of Accra was over flooded. All the gutters Koffuor laid especially the one at Alajo saved many lives and other ones I can't mention here. But when NDC came to power they failed to maintain it by emptying these gutters for free flow of flood water. If NDC fails to make maintenance of projects in the country, and things go wrong they will be blamed. Because here in the United Kingdom, roads, houses and drainage systems are always under maintenance. NDC should try and make more drainage systems than always depending on those undertook in Koffuors administration. If we compare the capital income accrued in the NDC administration to the cost of projects undertaken by the Ndc It is apparent to all Ghanaians that only about one third of this huge capital could be accounted for. The remaining two thirds are in the pockets of NDC gurus. Ghanaians are aware of that and you people are going to be shown the exit.

The BNI officer verbally exploded saying, " Mister, I have the authority of the Central Government with me !" First does he believe there is a drainage system in the worst affected areas? If he believes there is, is it working and has it kept pace with the rapid urbanization of Accra? If there isn't who does he expect Ghanaians to blame, when under similar circumstances in other parts of Accra, the previous NPP govt addressed it?
The most question though is, does the incompetent and corrupt John Dramani Mahama NDC gov't of looters believe the lack of a proper drainage system is a critical infrastructure need that requires a solution and does he believe Terkper and that GIIF should be idle with a quarter of a billion dollars stashed somewhere for Ghanaians to be paying over 20% interest on that bond, whilst flooding and the general dire unsanitary conditions continues to lead to loss of lives with its attendant negative impact on economic growth?

After that, he has given huge contracts to Opana's brother and we are still here with floods so is it not a leadership crisis? Can your father or mother give contracts for gutters to be dredged? If that power is in the hands of some people, then who do you want to take responsibility? Yes floods occur everywhere including Texas and Paris but the difference is people act thereafter to forestall reoccurrence. Why are we so dump?
