I support the idea. Current system bogus. Too much pressure on Ghanaian kids. It is as if there is a grand agenda out there to keep people away from being educated. Exams have become too difficult and trickery. Why cant we decide as a nation to get many of our young kids educated even if they would want to go into farming or if you like fashion. We will be better off as a country with educated population than uneducated population. It seems WAEC now takes interest in the failure of kids and thereby sabotaging their future. An educated nation is a wealthy nation.

Was it not the old system that introduced Nov/Dec? Instead of improving what we have, you're calling for a tear down and rebuild? No wonder why you guys would be in perpetual opposition.

Look at another buffon who has no solution yet talks about education in Ghana. There is nothing wrong with the JHS and the SHS system of education but the major national problem with our education is that every person in Ghana never realizes that BASIC EDUCATION is the way forward and thus there is the need that good attention is given to it, and not the way is abandoned like the technical education in Ghana.
In Singapore's educational system, the best 30 univerasity graduates are posted to the primary schools level to help build them up so that before they enter into their secondary school levels they are ready to absorb anything that pertains to intelligence.
This mindset of reasoning about education is not in our educational circles due to our opposite approach to education in relation to the poor handling of the BASIC EDUCATION, the primary and kindergaten levels. It is very foolish that most Ghanaians claiming to be this and that in educational circles had failed to see the ABC of our failure in education.
Honestly to my amazement it is only the re-nowned economist Dr NII MOI THOMPSON who stated that the major failures [poor performances] in our JHS/SHS levels is because of the poor build up at the BASIC LEVEL, a point that every smart and visionary educationist could agree without any arguements since good foundation in everything is the way forward. Period.

How many job openings do we have in Ghana today that remain unfilled because employers can't find people with the right skills to take up those jobs? I believe just a handful.
The challenge that we must address is rather "Job Creation".
