When will these violent acts stop in Akufo-Addo-led NPP? The Council of Elders of NPP and the Party's Disciplinary Council should make stopping of violent acts in the Party their priority in the process of campaigning to win the Elections in 2016.
A very strict penalty, preferably, outright eviction from the Party, must be the main punishment for all who are found to be indulging in such acts, no matter what the provocation, unless it is clearly for defending life. Even in the case of the exception, calling on the Police must supersede any individual's effort in that regard.
It has now become an indefensible habit of the Akufo-Addo Mafia to resort to violence in resolving issues within the Party. It would either directly engage in violence or instigate to see violence occur.
That is most shameful for any Flagsbearer in Ghana, and I hope all the various International Democratic Advocates monitoring Ghana's Political trajectory are keeping the tabs.
And Ghanaians must not take lightly such violence, and overlook it to elect Akufo-Addo, should he fail to more prominently and effectively curb the behavior as soon as possible.
Surely, he may not be able to preempt every violent action by every vicious hooligan in the midst of the Party. But his reaction to any such violence and whether or not he might make proactive efforts to advise his minions to stop the crime must be a serious and foremost criterion for voting for him.
