THE STORY OF APAAK IN CANADA
The then Mr clement Abass chigaweh was born to Mr. Chigaweh(father) and Madam Abasilie(mother) in the kasena Nankani district. His father passed on to glory when Mr. Clement was only 7years, so the mother remarried to Mr. Azundem of Doninga. But then clement was moved to go stay with the Father's relatives in Wa (UW/R) until he was done with his middle school.
He then move to stay with the mother in Doninga, and there he was supported to continue his secondary education at Sandema Senior secondary Technical School.
Proceeded to the University of Ghana, Legon to complete his first degree. After some few years, he later moved out of the country to further his education, and there he obtained his other certificates which qualifies him as Dr. Clement.
Dr. Clement got married to a Canadian white lady and they stayed in Canada for years and were blessed with two daughters.
Dr. Clement while in Canada, was employed in one of their high schools as a lecturer, but for some time the school authority declared him a gangster and a criminal because he had refused to clear off his dreadlocks (rasta) and also for wearing ear rings to lecture innocent students. On that basis, Dr clement was expel from the school as lecturer.
He was again employed by the wife's family company (consultancy). Dr. Clement defrauded the company in the name of doing business with a non existing company.
He was again sacked and was dragged to court. He was ordered to refund the money to the company. He managed to pay part of the money but risked a jail term if he had not met the time line.
So fled to Homeland Ghana. He so lucky to have landed in the hands of a God fearing native brother, Hon. Alhassan Azong who received him well and accommodated him for months and later introduced him to some officials of the ruling party (NDC) after Dr clement had expressed interest to communicate for NDC.
God actually heard his cry, and through that, he is whom he is today.
Dr. Clement became an enemy to the sitting Mp of the Builsa south Constituency, Hon. Alhassan Azong and minister of state, since he (Dr clement) declared his intention to contest him. Such is life.
But the biggest question is;
Is Dr. Clement qualify to contest elections in the Builsa south Constituency since he has not registered nor voted in the Constituency in all past election? He was only recently registered prior to the NDC parliamentary and presidential elections.
Another big question is;
How come he is now called Dr. Clement Abasinaab Apaak instead of Dr. Clement Chigaweh?
In any case can he win.......? The electorate will decide.

If the confirmation of Hon Alhassan Azong alone has created this kind of aggression, fear and panic within the NDC in the builsa south then I predict they and their parliamentary candidate will be admitted of heart attacks when the real campaign begins.
But i think this kind of hypocritical politics has to stop because the values of Builsa land did not teach us that.
Personally journalism in Ghana is no longer attractive to me in Ghana since some news agencies could simply allow some greedy stomach politicians to stampede over them because of money.
This article alleged that the constituency secretary to have asked why someone will bite the hand that feeds him. But they are as usual mistaken because they forgot that Hon. Alhassan does not work for and is not paid by the NDC but mother Ghana and the people of Buluk. NDC does not own the tax payers money.
The NDC should stop referring to the parliamentary seat in Builsa south as their seat because know party owns any constituency. It is about development and not party colors, so if the NDC thinks so myopic about politics then am sorry they have lost the battle in advance.
What does it even mean for Mark Woyongo to say the NDC can not keep having a PNC candidate to represent them? Has Azong ever contested on the ticket of NDC, Has there been an election year that the NDC did not present any candidate to contend him? The simple answer is NO so they should stop wailing as if John Mahama campaigned for Azong in the past years which we all know was not the case.
Let me borrow some adjectives from the NDC's own article to make a little analysis. The article described Apaak as a Unifier, development oriented person, grassroots man, intelligent, dynamic and above all a committed member of the NDC. THIS IS A BIG JOKE FOR GOD SAKE.
Is a grassroot man someone who was never known is his own "adopted village", is a grassroot man someone who never voted in his own constituency, is a grassroot man someone who has to change his names to force himself to be a Builsa before contesting, we know the answer
Can you be called a unifier when you are trying to reduce the representation of the Builsa community both in parliament and in Government?
Are you intelligent when all you think is that elections are won through social media propaganda and writing false news articles?
Are you a committed member when you rig your own primary elections to the disadvantage of your opponent?
We need to be serious as a people and stop this hypocrisy.
During the confirmation the Hon. MP Alhassan Azong came the platform for every political party present to say a word. The representative of the NDC was the same constituency secretary who actually in his presentation attested to the fact that the Hon. MP has done well for the constituency but he pleads for him to give way for another son to take over since to him the MP is tired. In all his developmental agenda he does not look at peoples political party affiliations befor executing. This is how much a unifier of an MP we have.
The MP also went through all the ranks from a people teacher in his village, to an assembly man, to teacher, lecturer, consultant, philanthropist before finally being elected s an MP. That what we call grassroots personality.
Intelligence is the fact that he is not allowing all this false publications to distract his attention and development agenda for that matter does not waste his time and resources responding or writing counter articles to respond to their false allegations.
Dynamism is also his ability to work hard and lobby for a lot of developmental projects and other things for his people despite his party being in opposition for such a long time. You can imagine how many more wonders he would have performed if PNC was in Government.
As for commitment don't go there because he is so committed first of all to Almighty Allah as during the confirmation he kept referring to God as the person to fight all this allegations through the people. Secondly he is also so committed that the NDC could not buy him out of his mother party and that is the Genesis of all their outrage at the Honorable Man.
So comparing this two candidates you can see that is like you are comparing sugar to bitter leaf. LONG LIVE HON. ALHASSAN AZONG, LONG LIVE BUILSA SOUTH, LONG LIVE BULUK AND LONG LIVE GHANA.
