So far there's not that many voters in Ghana with a propensity for being truthful who can say Ghana has achieved greatness and made great strides since 1966 in whatever it was that drove us to a military coup.
The Danquah-Busia-Dumbo NPP plan has not worked; it has created a more wider gap between the very minute rich Ghanaians who stole from the national treasury and a vast majority of poor citizens desperate to become rich by foul means who have normalized bribery, stealing and corruption as cultural practices. When a politician or political operative continues to prefer death over losing elections that should tell voters that elections in Ghana has never been about governance but about access to the national treasury. Kufour did not have a foreign account prior to becoming Ghana's president and so are many of NPP and NDC politicians and operatives. Steal and let's steal is the order of the day for these shameless politicians and they prefer death to living average lives in Ghana. Once politicians get comfy with a life of luxury nothing else will do but death; being poor is not an option.
