After all, Doctors coming to Ghana from Cuba is not a secret undertaking, while in the case of these mercenaries, their coming here until the arrest have remained a secret apparently due to the diabolical nature of the reason that led them into this nation.
No amount of reason, or attempt to irrelevant the weight of the crime you were perpetuating against Ghanaians come November 7 would survive. And that is the fact. Whatever good intentions were behind such a para-military group, the way it was organized makes it cleanly fit into the Akufo-Addo campaign mantra of "All die be die.." And it leaves little to no room for excusing him.
This is especially so because no license had been issued to any such entity to be formed to offer special protective services to either Akufo-Addo or the NPP. And for what does the NPP, or any Party, for that matter, need such a para-military security outfit?
Didn't the NPP massively come down upon NDC's former National Organizer, Yaw Boateng Gyan, for presumably contemplating organizing similar outfit a little while back?
Why would the NPP then go back to do the very thing it protested against?
