"Thanks for the compliment, but I am not a political science lecturer at Legon or anywhere. Their pay is too small. And for goodness sake I have made no statement or comment in connection with Ghana's election date. Nor have I made any appearance at any forum or event of this nature. What nonsense is this? Did the reporter see my fine face at the forum he or she is reporting about?"
Now the OBVIOUS QUESTION: where did the writer of this story get all that he had written from? What a sad reflection!

When push comes to shove, I am certain Mahama and the Armed forces can sustain Ghana till 2020. I also think that if NPP attempts to make the country ungovernable, a few dead thousand of them would be worth the sacrifice. It is just so difficult if not impossible to believe that a man with his looks and name will ever vote for any Ghanaian who is not an Ashanti. Dirty rats!!!

If the NPP and Nana Akufo Addo do what they did in 2012 after the elections, the President John Dramani Mahama will declare a STATE OF EMERGENCY FOR 2 YEARS. With the State of Emergency he will continue to be president of Ghana for 2 more years before his actual term of 4 years commences. We cannot allow our dear Ghana to be ruined by disgruntled NPP.

Such nonsense, I thought I was going to read about him saying something different, it is the same rhetoric about calls for a new register. No matter how much your agitations delay the elections, you guys will only be postponing Nana Addo's agony. On the positive side he will get to live a few days more as he is most likely to kick the bucket together with Sir John after declaration of results. I hope Sir John's casket is ready.

Well analysed and said, but why the irresponsible noises and unrealistic demands from the EC instigated by the Npp.This very party held Ghana backward for 8 good months in an expensive fictitious election petition and other subversive activities, only to turn that press. Mahama and Ruling NDC has mismanaged the Ghanaian economy.Reckless force to have a new voters register and clever criminal editing of Togolese voters register(forged in deed and words)by BAWUMIA,popularly known in Ghanaian politics as Dr Pink Sheet have failed ,desperate Npp folk has clindicically resort to some think tanks to join their chorus to compelled EC to compile a new voters's register. This is simply an UNSUSPECTING WELL CALCULATED SUGGESTIBLITY to cow the EC.Are political parties , for that matter the NPP going to sponsure the excise?,now that Nana Akufo Addo has spuander all the piled up Npp party funds.

NPP made strong case to EC to make fresh voters register towards the 2016 elections as the existing register was bloated .
NDC, as usual sought to discredit NPP demands & rather proposed cleaning of the register as their solution & which EC eventually adopted after some fraudish gymnastics.
We're approaching the d-day. Its a wonder, how NDC have relaxed & not insisting that EC implements the cleaning which they vehemently proposed. NDC are naked.
Wicked and insensitive NDC have now relaxed. They don't care. They just wanted to show NPP. They just had no aim to enhance the electoral process. Theirs was to sabotage NPP aim of streamlining the electoral process. NDC are happy that the status quo & thus the electoral disorderliness in which they thrive is maintained.
Clearly, posterity has no decent place for NDC --a bunch of saboteurs, good - for -nothing ruffians & evil demagogues.
They have had too much sun. They will soon see too much darkness.

They are not going to try pushing the EC to do their bidding like the NPP is doing with it's unreasonable demand for a new register. You talk of the NDC thriving in disorderliness forgetting that every disorder in our dear country is caused by Akufo Addo, the NPP and their lackeys. Nov 7 will come as you said and we will all hear the voice of the people,; whether they believe in what they can see and feel now or the unrealistic promises of a bunch of clueless agitators.

Every well meaning Ghanaian who means we'll the progress of this country will agree that the current elotoral roll as ruled by the supreme Court of ghana, did suggest changes regarding ECs work and handling of results as well as persons recruited to help them carry out its constitutional madate.Fortunately however the man who coursed the mess that saw the last elections ending up in the court,Afari Gyan has retired. The new EC boss who sat and watch the proceeding in the supreme Court as an intereted party then as NCCE boss, takesover as EC boss now, this gave her the beautiful opportunity to begin on a clean slate, and instead of working hard to gain back the eroded trust of the Ghanaian public, decided to go with the old system and mess she inherited from her predecessor and pretending to understand the issues. It's becoming abundantly clear that the job is above her and this should take courageous people of this country including chiefs, civil sociaty groups and opinion leaders to call her to order as the ruling government since her coming into office feels forfilled and hardly disagree with her on everything she does including appointing their members to steer the affairs of the EC untill it was pointed out to her forcing some of the committee members to withdraw. So the question is how long can we fold our arms in the same boat in the middle of the deep blue sea whiles she is heading to an ice berg?.The international community must speak out through the UN desk that ve the oversight responsibility on African elections, the processes leading to free and fair election should and must be their concern, they should not wait untill thing get out of hand before they bring us aid,the laydown rules must be followed and respected, the EC boss must be told that it's not for nothing that the Constitution garantees her safety and protection even beyong ghana, her regid stands that gives undue advantage to the incumbent ndc party who ve assume spoke persons for the EC is problematic and must be condemned.

IEA and some quasi NPP Groupings have been expressing doubts about the possibility of Election 2016 not coming off on schedule.
The Flagbearer of NPP, Nana Addo, expressed such a doubt when Friends of Nana Konadu (FONKA) visited him at his Nima "Flagstaff House. Surely, there must be something sinister cooking in opposition circles.
Nana Addo, having messed up the STRONG party President Kufour handed over to him, seems to be looking for was and means of pushing the DATE foward. This could the reason why suddenly certain individuals and Groups are hinting/expressing doubts on the D-Day. But the earlier they are made to understand that Ghana cannot wait for them in order that they can put their DIVIDED party back together. They should not be allowed to extend any spilover of their internal problems on the whole Nation.
How REASONABLE could such a person who has not been able to hold together a mere party be "TRIED" to handle AFFAIRS of the whole Nation?
Sorry folks, these elementary TRICKS cannot be allowed!
