  Proud Ghanaians I say hi
  Election time is nigh
  Let's hold in democracy high
  Even if above the sky
  So others cannot defy
  But rather accept or comply.

  Let's share the peace pie
  For that you cannot buy
  Even if you are richest guy
  Let's not bid peace goodbye
  And leave democracy to fly
  Away or even pass us by.
  
  I know politicians will ask why
  Forgetting 'tis them that vie.
  Why give war a try
  When you know you can't untie.
  If you want no silly reply
  Then leave us with no lie.
  
  Let's not coyly stand by
  And watch the innocent cry,
  But boldly stand and decry.
  Let us not fear to try
  Else our bones they'll dry
  And proudly say ''all die be die ''
